"My name is Mark, and I want to thank Humanix of Spokane Valley, and especially Andrea, an Humanix Representative, for sending me to a place named, "Inland Northwest Lighthouse for the Blind, Inc."

For all you very fine folks who are not familiar with this company, here are some facts:

Their Parent Company is Seattle Lighthouse for the Blind, and they have been in business for 100 years.  They are a NONPROFIT Company, I believe, the first company to EMPLOY people who are Legally blind, partially or completely blind.  The company manufactures Dry Eraser boards, and Corkboards for offices and schools and the ilk.  The various jobs are designed so that people with limited sight can do the job.

These amazing workers work about 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday, receiving equitable compensation and benefits, and are completely independent with their own apartments or houses.  The employees who have a Guide Dog, the company has provided a Dog Kennel.  Is that COOL or WHAT?

I hope to become a permanent employee, as well as others may be as blessed as I have.
