Our client is a successful Electronic Manufacturing Service (EMS) provider specializing in PCB assembly, plastic molding, precision metal stamping, fabrication and finishing, and full product assembly, with products ranging from simple consumer devices to complex, high-end commercial and industrial electromechanical products.
Responsibilities of the Program Manager:
If you would enjoy travelling 50% of the time to US locations, China and Mexico, this is a great opportunity to experience the Chinese and Mexican cultures while you build relationships with both national and international clients, identifying their specific needs, providing quotes and securing contracts.
Additionally, you will lead a cross-functional launch team of 6-12 members for the introduction of new products.
Qualifications of the Program Manager:
•Bachelor's degree in engineering or business.
•Knowledge of cost accounting and proficiency in managing timelines.
•At least five years of experience in cross-functional project management (in two or more organizations); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
•Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical publications and reports.
•Ability to clearly communicate and document communications both verbally and in written form.
•Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from small groups of managers, engineers, clients and customers.
•Applied engineering mathematics, statistics, and business and economic analysis.
•Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
•Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
•Ability to operate a computer and be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project for managing reports.
•Must possess a fundamental understanding of the business practice from the sales process through production.
